Ian Purdy

A graduate of the Culinary Institute of Canada, has spent the last thirty five years honing his culinary skills in five-star resorts and hotels both here in Canada and in Australia. He also owned and operated his own restaurant in Rural New Brunswick and was fortunate enough to be featured in the Where to Eat in Canada guide and was a recipient of the American Express 4 Diamond award.

Eventually, Ian discovered his passion for cooking within the retirement industry. “Developing a relationship with our residents is one of the great joys afforded by the retirement community.”

Ian’s philosophy surrounding food is simple, use fresh ingredients with a strong emphasis on cooking from scratch. His vision is to create a community where the residents are excited about each meal period as they anticipate the next featured creation.
